What is the Study?
TREASURE is a clinical trial testing the kidney effects of Tirzepatide among participants with chronic kidney disease and overweight, or obesity.
Tirzepatide is a new FDA-approved, once-weekly injectable medication that works by mimicking the natural gut-derived hormones GLP-1 and GIP.
Who Can Join the Study?
People with or without type 2 diabetes who have an estimated GFR lower than 60 mL/min/1.73m2 may be eligible.
