What is the study and, what are the goals?
This study looks at patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). The goal of this study is to examine a panel of clinically available and novel cardiac biomarkers measured in the blood of patients with kidney disease to identify novel mechanisms that contribute to the risk of heart disease in patients with chronic kidney disease.
