What is the PERL age Study?
PERLage is a multicenter follow-up study for participants of PERL.
PERL tested medication therapy for people with type 1 diabetes and early-stage kidney disease. The PERL study aimed to see if taking allopurinol to decrease uric acid levels may prevent kidney disease in people with type 1 diabetes.
