Dr. Susan Wong selected as Fulbright Scholar
Dr. Susan Wong has been chosen as a Fulbright Distinguished Professor to the United Kingdom for the 2024-2025 academic year.
She was selected by a presidentially appointed 12-member board tasked with overseeing the Fulbright Program and advancing mutual understanding and scholarly exchange between the peoples of the United States and other countries.
Fulbright alumni include 62 Nobel Laureates, 89 Pulitzer Prize winners, 80 MacArthur Fellows, and thousands of leaders across the private, public, and non-profit sectors.
Dr. Wong will investigate the feasibility of adapting kidney palliative care models in the United Kingdom's National Health Service for implementation within the infrastructure of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
