Dr. Dan Lam selected for ASN Mid-Career Award

The American Society of Nephrology Awards

The ASN has selected Dr. Dan Lam for the Mid-Career Distinguished Clinical Service Award! Dan is the Director of Palliative Care Services at Harborview Medical Center, and the Palliative Care Medical Advisor for Northwest Kidney Centers.

“What matters most to patients is how to live well with the optimum quality of life,” says Dr. Dan Lam, “and that varies from patient to patient.”

This mid-career award recognizes individuals who exemplify leadership and excellence in the practice of nephrology and combine the art of medicine with the skills demanded by the scientific body of knowledge in service to patients.
