Linda Johnston has much to celebrate, which she does every year on September 15th. This year, she celebrated the 55th anniversary of having received her first kidney transplant when she was only 16 years old by calling UW Professor, Dr. Chris Blosser

Dr. Blosser is the Director of the Center for Innovation in Cancer & Transplant, and the Cancer & Organ Transplant Clinic, as well as Director of the Kidney Transplant Transitions of Care Clinic, and Director of Kidney Transplant Outreach. Dr. Blosser happily spoke with Linda and suggested that she participate in an in-depth interview to share the details of her story and the early days of kidney care at the University of Washington.
