Patient Advisory Council

A priority at the Kidney Research Institute is to produce findings that translate directly towards improving the lives of people with kidney disease. In order to best do this patient input is needed early on in the research process. The KRI Patient Advisory Council had its inaugural meeting in 2016. The Patient Advisory Council provides guidance to investigator initiated research by giving voice to the patient perspective, and addressing patient priorities and concerns. The Patient Advisory Committee has regional and national representation from patients who represent a diversity of backgrounds and kidney disease experiences.
